When we first heard about Liberty Trust and their concept of giving, lending and borrowing without interest, in order to assist those with financial difficulties, help relieve financial burdens, and to further the Kingdom of God, it certainly caught our attention.
The concept of not only enabling ourselves or our family members to financially move forward, but to also be helping others along the way with their financial needs, was very encouraging and inspiring to us.
Therefore, in conjunction with our son and his wife we decided to journey with Liberty Trust towards this end, although collectively we could only afford to pay $20/ week toward the venture. It is amazing how that over the course of 10 years that small weekly amount built up in our contribution fund.
Knowing that this concept of saving towards assisting with our financial future also helped others along the way led another family member to contribute a one-off bulk payment into our account which substantially bumped up the outcome of how much interest free loan we could draw on.
We’re delighted that together we have now been able to assist another son to cover his house mortgage with an interest free loan. This has not only reduced the amount he needs to pay for his house substantially, but also greatly diminished the time required to totally clear this debt.
Further to that, our daughter-in-law suddenly had the need for an operation which was beyond their financial means to cover, and we found ourselves in the position to also be able to draw down another interest free loan to assist with this need while still leaving some money in our contribution fund to go towards another financial need that may arise.
We love the flexibility that the Liberty Trust Scheme offers and are very grateful that we could combine as a family to work towards diminishing financial stress by helping to give greater security in meeting financial needs within our whanau.
Thank you, Liberty Trust, for your vision and ministry.
