We are Rangimarie and Andre Biddle, siblings from Ōpōtiki in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Our connection to Liberty Trust began with our father, who had the foresight to join Liberty Trust back in 2012.
He saw it as a way to build something lasting for our whānau - and he was right. Our mother, who passed away in 2009, shared that same dream. One of her favorite scriptures was Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" - and she believed it wholeheartedly. Owning a home for our whānau was a dream she and Dad carried together.
Through our father's investment, my brother and I were able to make that dream a reality. We used the interest-free loan to purchase our first property together, right here in Ōpōtiki - in our own town, close to our marae and our people. To do that without the weight of compounding interest is a genuinely different way of doing things, and we are grateful for it.
We are also pleased to share that both our father and I have continued our accounts with Liberty Trust - because we believe in what it makes possible, not just for us, but for the generations that come after us.
Ngā mihi, Rangimarie Biddle & Andre Biddle.
