Which comes First? Home or Business?
As an Chartered Accountant this is a question I am often asked. I would rather avoid answering but thankfully the Bible doesn’t avoid it. Proverbs 24 verse 27 says: Develop your business first before building your house. (LB)
If you want to develop a business you may have to borrow, and take risks, and you will learn many valuable skills through the experience. In time the business will make your home purchase possible. If you chose to buy a home first the home mortgage may delay or even prevent you from ever achieving your own enterprise. You must seek God’s timing, and His best for your life. Be careful. Prayer and Godly counsel are essential.
