I
willl walk in Liberty
for I follow Your Principles
Psalm 119:45
The
Bible Says
You
have been blessed that you might be a blessing.
Jesus came to set the captives free (Gal
5:1) and to release people from the curse into blessing (Gal
3:13-14). The Bible says
that debt is a curse (Deut 28:44-45) and
the borrower is servant (slave) to the lender (Prov
22:7). Why do Christian ministries always seem to be limited
by financial shortage, when the Bible promises ample provision for His people?
God's
Word clearly teaches that His people should not become entangled with the
world, making themselves servants of it with heavy debt and interest
repayments (Rom 12:2, Neh
5:1-13). Instead we should serve and support one another in love (Gal
5:13).
How
can we help each other into homes today?
Interest
Free Lending
Liberty
Trust began in 1989 with a direction from God
that we should "pool our resources and lend to one another without
interest". Liberty Trust operates a storehouse into which
people can donate for the promotion of God’s purposes. These funds
are used to fulfill the Trust’s charitable objects and the remainder is
currently invested with Ark Resources Ltd
as an ethical investment to support the charitable purposes for which
Liberty Trust has been established.
Ark
Resources Ltd offers biblically-based (Deut
23:20, 28:12, Pr
28:8) interest free mortgages for New Zealand housing and church
buildings following the principle of sowing and reaping (2
Cor 9:6-15) as funds become available.
These mortgages are repaid over 7-15 years enabling borrowers to be
released from financial burdens and to generously serve and build God's
Kingdom.
Liberty Trust is also
an ideal way to equip your pastors, missionaries and Christian workers (Eph
4:12), and provide for church buildings interest free.
You were called to be free ...
serve one another in love. Gal 5:13
