Thank you for the opportunity to let you know how Liberty Trust and Ark Resources have helped us.
When we first heard about Liberty Trust we caught hold of the vision of God’s people helping each other. Not everyone can understand this, as we have found out when we have shared with others.
When we first joined we had 3 children and although we never seemed to have any money extra, the Lord has seen us through. We had a surprise addition to the family 2 years ago which has seen a rethink of our situation. When we heard that our loan was coming though we were thrilled knowing we would be able to get out of “the system”. We anticipated the date and were pleasantly surprised at how easy everything was made, including the reaction of people at the bank where we previously had our mortgage.
Since then it has been wonderful knowing that we are relying on the Lord, through His people, and that this outreach will continue to grow because none of it gets swallowed up by interest and profits.
At the risk of repeating what others have said, the Lord’s timing is amazing, as just after Christmas, Tom and one of the children were able to travel overseas to his sister’s funeral, something that was unanticipated and would not have been so easily done without this loan. This brought to mind the verse Proverbs 16:9:
“In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps.”
We wish to thank those who have freely given their money and especially those who have given their time and prayer to this biblical idea.
