From a background of high school teaching and Anglican parish ministry, Tim joined the academic staff in 1994 after completing doctoral studies at New College, University of Edinburgh. He is author of Aramaic Daniel and Greek Daniel (1995), and has continued to publish in the fields of Daniel's teaching and biblical interpretation.
